Integrated Broadcast Information Systems (IBIS) will showcase the speed, efficiency and versatility possible in a seamless, transparent system under IBIS control during IBC2008.
The point of the demonstration is to display media asset management for news and sports production, media distribution and archive in a multichannel, distributed environment.
All IBIS solutions run on iFind, the fully integrated IBIS media asset management platform. Integrated production and playout capabilities combined with iFind enable broadcasters to optimize their media.
During the convention, IBIS will unveil iFind v3, which offers greater speed and efficiency in searching, finding and browsing from the desktop. New search capabilities using video and audio mining technologies from IBIS partner Aurix will be demonstrated. The company also will show the addition of iCode, which provides simultaneous transcoding and transfer of material into multiple formats.
