Indonesian broadcaster PT Media Televisi Indonesia (Metro TV) will install a Sundance Digital FastBreak NXT automation solution as part of its overall automation upgrade. The new system will go on air early in the first quarter of this year from PT METRO’s studios in Jakarta.
Working with system integrator Roscor, METRO TV selected the FastBreak NXT because of its ability to import the facility’s existing database, allowing an easy migration path from its legacy automation system. The FastBreak NXT package will be tightly integrated with a ForeTV traffic software system from MSA Focus.
FastBreak NXT is a transmission automation solution that incorporates a distributed, fault-tolerant architecture and an integrated SQL database.
