Intellistream last week made available as a single-box licensed application its Unistream 3G video content and interactive media platform, complimenting the company’s established hosted video content management and delivery platform.
Featuring remote monitoring and support capability, the Unistream appliance provides tools for managing and delivering interactive content to any mobile device capable of making and receiving standard 3G video calls. It can serve full motion interactive 3G video while also handling more traditional technologies, such as voice-only IVR applications. It is network-operator independent, written using standard XML and java techniques, and will work on any 3G videophone without software installation. Implementation requires only the addition of interconnects to the phone networks to begin serving both interactive video and standard IVR applications.
