JK Audio announces new products at NAB
JK Audio will show two new products at NAB. The Daptor Three wireless audio interface and the RemoteMix 4 portable broadcast mixer route audio using Bluetooth wireless technology.
The Daptor Three offers 20kHz stereo audio playback through cell phones and portables, first attempting to connect in hands free mode to a cell phone. If this type of connection is not available, it will connect to any other product, such as a laptop or portable that allows a Bluetooth wireless connection, offering a full audio bandwidth, stereo connection in headphone mode. The unit will feature both an XLR mono balanced line input and output, and 3.5 mm stereo line input and output. Weighing 7oz and operating on a 9V battery, the Daptor Three measures a compact 4.4in x 2.7in x 1.2in.
Using the same technology, the new RemoteMix 4 portable broadcast mixer is a four-channel field mixer with headphone amplifier capable of connecting to a cellular phone or other Bluetooth-capable device with full bandwidth. The RemoteMix 4 also features a phone line hybrid and keypad, a PBX handset interface and a 2.5mm cell phone interface. All parts are designed to work together, saving setup time in the field.
Both products will be on display at NAB booth #N9426, and are expected to ship in July 2007. For more information, visit www.jkaudio.com.
