KUAT, the PBS affiliate in Tucson, AZ, has selected a six-channel Sundance Digital Titan automation system.
Situated on the University of Arizona campus in Tucson, KUAT operates two stations and a university channel for Cox Cable. One station airs in HD 24/7 while the other multicasts four SD program streams.
Titan is a scalable automation system designed to control hundreds of channels. It will drive all six playlists. The Sundance configuration will include TitanSync auto-failover redundancy and Intelli-Sat "PBS Edition" to manage the capture and recording of programming received via satellite. Installation is scheduled for late Q4 2006.
