LAN International Launches Paperless Public File Software for TV Groups
A company that develops public filing software for radio stations is now marketing the same application for TV stations.
LAN International, an Aliso Viejo, Calif.-based company that markets VIERO Solutions Suite has introduced “e-PIF” for television. The software, which is used by radio stations, has been tweaked to enable TV stations to comply with new FCC regulations that call for the posting of their public files online. It also enables users to manage information from a local or centralized location, receive automated reminders for time-sensitive reports and more.
“There has been a tremendous amount of concern revolving around new FCC requirements related to record keeping and the associated costs…we saw a definite need for a cost-effective solution,” said Sharon Blankenship, president/CEO of LAN International. “So e-PIF is really a continuation of VIERO’s rich tradition of providing mission-critical tools based on real-world needs.”
