Latest Media 100 editing suite supports multiple formats
Version 12.0 of Media 100’s editing suite is now shipping. The new release adds support for progressive frame formats including real-time SD crossconversion from 4:3 to 16:9, a new time code burn-in feature for all models and deeper integration with the Boris FX product line. With version 12.0, Media 100 Editors can edit in almost any format with greater control over effect compositions including professional color correction techniques with support for 16-bit color.
Media 100 HD Suite and Media 100 HDe will support 480p, 720p 23.98 (HD Suite only), 720p 50, 720p 59.94, 720p 60, 1080 PsF 23.98, 1080 PsF 24, 1080p 25, 1080p 29.97 and 1080p 30 formats. All progressive formats play back in real-time without rendering.
Boris FX technology is also integrated into Media100 products. Clip effects and transitions can be applied and saved as favorites within the Media100 interface. Effects can be processed in 16-bits per channel color space for maximum quality and color accuracy.
