Leitch Updates dpsVelocity
Leitch has released version 8.1 of its dpsVelocity dual-stream non-linear editing system.
The upgrade includes real-time "garbage mattes," two camera editing, real-time support for video files with alpha channel and user interface updates like customizable hotkeys and user-selected A/X/B or single track timeline modes.
dpsVelocity's two-camera editing feature now supports transitions in multi-cam editing mode and interactive multi-cam editing with an increased real-time scrubbing speed for faster editing. The new version also is compatible with Leitch's dpsVelocityQ multi-stream NLE for project exchange between the two platforms. It is available as boardset and software bundles for installation into a Windows 2000 or XP workstation or as software upgrades for existing users of dpsVelocity version 7.6 or earlier.
