Lightworks, Gee Broadcast to Unveil New Gear
London's Lightworks will return to NAB this year, with Touch 2.0, the latest generation of its eponymous editing software. The company will show Touch 2.0 in the booth of its parent company, Gee Broadcast Systems, marking the North American debut of the product. Touch 2.0 improves open integration support, audio functionality and effects manipulation in the Lightworks Touch system. The upgrade features several new effects plug-ins, including Adobe After Effects, Sapphire, Tinderbox, Primatte, Boris Continuum and more.
Gee Broadcast will display its Geevs XT multiformat video servers. Geevs XT servers cover capture and playout applications for single and multichannel, multiformat systems. Material and metadata interchange with the Geevs XTs has been upgraded, including edit-during-capture, and when combined with Touch 2.0, provides improved networking support for multiseat editing via SharkNET shared storage.
Lightworks and Gee Broadcast will be in Booth SU10254.
