Mediaset selects Harris Videotek T&M instruments
Mediaset Group has placed a significant order for Harris Videotek test and measurement equipment for its new high-definition playout facility in Milan.
This latest order brings the number of Videotek TVM-900 and the new TVM-950 installed at Mediaset’s Videotime Production Center to more than 20 instruments.
As an existing customer of Harris Videotek products, as well as Leitch routing and distribution products, Mediaset began testing the TVM-900 in March 2005, and last summer became the first beta site in Europe for the new TVM-950.
With 100 percent digital signal processing technology, the TVM-950 provides accurate, stable display of single or multiple waveform, vector, gamut, audio, picture, timing and data analyzer functions in quadrant or full-screen views. The TVM-950's capabilities include advanced analysis tools, an extensive alarm set with peak level reporting, metadata, EIA-608, 708 closed caption, Teletext and XDS displays.
