Ordos TV, located in Inner Mongolia, has purchased a Vision 2X production switcher from Ross Video for its new 38ft mobile production van. The vehicle is being used to cover a number of live events throughout the country.
The van is designed around the switcher, which allows Ordos TV to produce live, on-location broadcasts, webcasting (streaming video) and recording events on video and audio. The Vision’s compact size, fully configurable multidefinition outputs, and aux keys for added branding, were ideal for the space-constrained van.
The switcher handles SD and HD formats in the same frame.
