Movavi delivers multiformat video to portable devices
Movavi, a video company based in Novosibirsk, Russia, has introduced Movavi VideoSuite 4, a set of software tools for simplifying format conversion to various media devices.
VideoSuite can prep news clips to submit to CNN or bud.tv; iPod or Zune devices; cell phones; PlayStation Portable (PSP), and DVD. It also enables users to share and stream homemade videos, turn still frames from videos and DVDs into photos, and create video postcards for mailing and blogging.
Version 4 of Movavi VideoSuite adds support for dual-core processors, with multithreading for faster high-speed conversion — up to three times faster than single-core processors. A new Capture Video module saves video as it's shot from a digital camcorder to any Windows computer.
Version 4 now includes presets for popular video formats and devices, including presets that convert movies for Zune, iPod 5G video at 640 x 480, for e-mail, for Web streaming and for video podcasts.
