Manchester United Television uses an Eyeheight playout modular transmission switcher in its new master control room at Old Trafford.
Manchester United Television has chosen Eyeheight's playout modular transmission switcher for installation in its new master control room at the Old Trafford football ground in Manchester.
The system is a 12-channel switcher with SQ-2E 2-D squeezeback, BA-2 animated logo generator, AM-2E voiceover mixer with motorized audio faders, AU-1 automation interface and auxiliary power supply unit.
The new system gives the channel greater control over its output, combining automation with the ability to take hands-on control when a major story breaks.
Eyeheight's playout master control system consists of a 1U base processor and six core units: mix/wipe module, keyer, audio/voice-over module, internal cross-point, logo-store and squeezback. These can be configured as an automated A/B mixer or scaled up to a complete multi-channel master control system with manual over-ride.
