Network Electronics to unveil Flashlink AV-SD-XMUX
Network Electronics will launch the Flashlink AV-SD-XMUX for studio, OB and mobile applications at NAB2007.
The company's new audio/video AV-SD-XMUX audio embedder/de-embedder will bring additional audio processing functionality and flexibility to the Flashlink line. Aimed at the professional broadcast market, the AV-SD-XMUX embeds and de-embeds AES audio streams in the video stream and can be equipped with high-performance optical fiber interfaces.
Its ability to embed and de-embed four AES signals simultaneously and daisy chain up to eight AES signals simplifies operations and reduces the inventory of traditionally required spares.
Features include:
- Built-in 18x16 AES router with four individual audio delay lines;
- AES inputs with sample rate conversion from 30kHz to 200kHz;
- Interoperability with all other Flashlink SDI/AES embedders and de-embedders.
