Network Electronics to unveil frame synchronizer
At NAB2008, Network Electronics will introduce its FRS-HD-DMUX frame synchronizer.
The FRS-HD-DMUX combines the electrical and optical domains and offers high-quality HD-SDI frame synchronization for demanding broadcasters and network operators.
The FRS-HD-DMUX features SD-SDI and HD-SDI frame synchronization, an optical and an electrical input, four electrical outputs — one of which serves as a buffered loop-through of the input signal — and sync input with unbuffered loop-through.
The company also will feature the DWC-HD-DMUX, an HD-SDI to SD-SDI downconverter. The DWC-HD-DMUX offers composite video monitoring and audio decoding and can accommodate a wide range of video transportation networks.
