Network Electronics Will Team With Gennum and Skyline
Network Electronics will debut new video transport solutions for 1080p 50/60 HD video over 3G-SDI single link connections. The company will do a live demonstration with Canadian company Gennum of chipsets supporting the ITU and SMPTE 3 Gbps standards by using dual 1.5 Gbps links over Networks Electronics’ router and optical transport solutions.
The 1080p 50/60 video signal for the live demonstration will be generated at the Gennum stand and converted into the optical domain using the Network Electronic’s Flashlink 3GHD-EO-2 electrical-to-optical converter then transported over a single-mode fibre to Network Electronics’ stand, where the signal will converted back to electrical by a Flashlink 3GHD-OE-2 optical-to-electrical converter for display on a 1080p60 monitor.
Additionally, Network Electronics will unveil a strategic partnership with Skyline Communications. Following its “Simplicity Rules” philosophy, Network Electronics has integrated Skyline Communications’ DataMiner management system to provide Flashlink users at large installations with easy-to-use yet powerful control functionality.
Network Electronics will be at stand 8.270; Gennum will be at stand 10.119; Skyline Communications will be at stand 1.414.
