NewTek Adds New TriCaster to Lineup
NewTek, a San Antonio, Texas-based manufacturer of video and 3D animation products, recently announced the introduction of its TriCaster TCXD300 portable live production package.
The new TriCaster features both SD and HD operation, live multi-camera switching, full HD streaming, HD virtual sets, titling, digital disk recording, editing, audio mixing and more all in one package.
“[The] NewTek TriCaster TCXD300 represents a breakthrough in portable live production, allowing users to more successfully engage audiences, deliver messages and events, build brands and create new revenue streams,” said Andrew Cross, executive vice president of engineering at NewTek. “Customers can now produce network-quality HD or SD output, access unprecedented effects and layering capabilities, and take advantage of the most powerful virtual set technology available. As the newest member of our TriCaster product line, this system combines industry-leading performance and ease-of-use to suit the diverse goals of producers ranging from beginners to seasoned professionals.”
The TriCaster allows users to simultaneously produce broadcast, live stream standard- or high-definition video/audio content. A single operator or small team can use it to create sophisticated productions employing up to three live cameras and five virtual sets. It also provides the capability for insertion of video clips, titles, motion graphics, along with multi-channel effects.
