Nokia ships latest mobile TV handset
Nokia has begun shipping the Nokia N77, a mobile TV-enabled handset based on the DVB-H standard. It is already available in the company’s home country of Finland, with plans to have it on the shelves in India and Vietnam later this month.
The handset, based on the Symbian operating system, features a 2.4in flat screen, stereo sound capabilities, an MP3 player and a two-megapixel camera (1600 x 1200 pixels). Users can access live TV programming by clicking on a single dedicated key and can set the device to alert them when a favorite program is starting. The phone can also recall the last channel the user has viewed. In addition, it features a 30-second replay capability.
