The Omneon booth at CABSAT 2009 will feature an SD/HD file-based workflow with ingest and transmission using the Omneon Spectrum and MediaDeck servers, with Final Cut Pro edit-in-place. In addition, there will be demonstrations of the MediaGrid active storage platform and ProXchange high-performance transcoding. Omneon will also be showcasing the ProCast content distribution platform, which provides managed, secure and efficient content distribution across multiple sites.
Omneon also will make its Asian debut of the new version 6.1 of ProCast CDN, the high-performance content distribution platform that allows for high-speed, long-distance file transfers over IP networks. ProCast CDN v6.1 offers even greater transfer efficiencies and integrates more easily and tightly with Omneon storage systems.
