OmniBus Systems has partnered with Aspera, creator of high-speed file transfer technology fasp 2.0, to deliver high-speed digital content to the OmniBus iTX broadcast automation and content management system that’s file-format and distribution-method agnostic.
Many OmniBus Systems clients face the common challenge of transporting an archive's digitally encoded content from one location to another to deliver the media via various distribution methods or to synchronize an archive among sites.
Using traditional FTP technology across a WAN is time-consuming and wastes bandwidth. Aspera's transport technology allows users to ingest content into an iTX system over the WAN, at full bandwidth capacity, regardless of network distance or conditions. It also provides precise control of transfer speeds and bandwidth prioritization. Synchronization of iTX archives between distant sites can be done at maximum speed as well.
