Optical Entertainment Network has announced that Amino will supply standard and high definition STBs for FISION's fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) video service in Houston.
Amino will deliver the STBs for FISION that will receive more than 300 video channels including in excess of 50 channels carrying, HD, VOD and original and specialty programming.
Amino will provide the AmiNET120 STB, an HD STB fitted into its compact form factor, which is fully capable of driving HDTV and SDTV displays. The AmiNET120 is compatible with providers of conditional access and middleware solutions enabling a full end-to-end IPTV solution, including both broadcast TV and video-on-demand.
In addition, FISION will make available Amino's AmiNET500 STB, which features built-in PVR functionality.
