Panasonic Introduces Enhanced DV Camcorders at InterBEE

published Panasonic debuted its AG-DVC30 multi-style mini-DV camera/recorder at the InterBEE exhibition in Japan. The NTSC version of the camera uses three 1/4-inch, 410,000-pixel CCDs to enable picture quality of 480/60i, 4:3 aspect. The PAL version has 470,000-pixel CCDs and features picture quality of 576/50i, 4:3 aspect. The AG-DVC30 includes a 16x Leica Dicomar lens with Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS), removable handle, IR filming function and an optional XLR audio input. It will be available in Spring 2004.
Panasonic also showed an upgraded version of its AG-DVX100, the AG-DVX100A 24p/30p/60i mini-DV camcorder.
