Pinnacle is now shipping version 6 of its video editing software, Liquid Edition.
New features include the ability to edit multiple streams of native HD content with real-time effects and compatibility with the Pinnacle Studio software. New options include advanced video effects, full surround sound support and VST plug-ins and effects such as Timewarp.
Through Liquid SmartEDIT, this new version of Liquid Edition combines multiple formats and standards in the same timeline. Liquid SmartEDIT provides native support for codecs such as DV25, MPEG-21 I-frame and IBP. With Liquid Edition, users can edit in native HDV and MPEG-2 IBP format.
