Pulse rolls out new PWB antenna for DVB-H applications
Technitrol company Pulse has launched a new external planar printed wire board (PWB) antenna for DVB-H applications, the W3520.
Designed for installation into DVB devices, the W3520 measures 50.5 mm x 10.5mm x 3.0mm. It operates at a frequency range of 470MHz-750MHz with a maximum 3-D gain of -4.5dBi at 470MHz and -3.5dBi at 750MHz, with a minimum return loss of -3dB, exceeding MBRAI specifications by a margin of 4dB. The antenna also features a micro-miniature connector interface (MMCX) — the coaxial RF connector standard for wireless devices — and integrated circuits. It has 360 degrees of rotation, an impedance of 50ohms and operating temperatures ranging from -40 to +85 degrees Celsius.
