QuStream to Launch Quadbox at GV Expo 2008
QuStream Corp. will launch the QFX Quadbox range of fiber extender modules, as well as showcase its range of routers, signal processing, conversion and distribution products at the Government Video Technology Expo 2008 in Washington, D.C., Dec. 3-4.
QuStream's QFX Quadbox is part of a newly developed QFX fiber extender series. The Quadbox modules are copper to fiber conversion modules that provide increased port density and total routing system cost savings. The modules support up to four SDI, HD-SDI or 3G-SDI signals using a 3 Gbps optical transport per fiber port. Using two SFP duplex small form factor pluggable modules, these units offer broadcast quality coax to fiber transmission paths in a single box or optional 1RU frame setup. The QFX Quadbox is compliant with SMPTE 259M, 292M, 372M, and 424M.
QuStream will also show its Cheetah line of HD routing products, including the Cheetah DRS audio router. Also on hand at the QuStream booth is the PERC2000 system controller with 10/100 Ehternet capabilities for controlling routers via an IP network.
Also on hand will be the Integrity CS A2HD516 standalone analog composite video to HD-SDI upconverter as well as the compact FRM603 chassis, which can accomodate up to 20 signal-processing cards in addition to the control/genlock boards, reducing system cost.
QuStream will be in Booth 462 in Hall D.
