RapcoHorizon will feature its HDMI fiber-optic extender, HDMI-X, at the upcoming InfoComm show (booth #8839). Designed for HD multimedia applications, HDMI-X provides the needed gear in a convenient installation kit, resulting in a turnkey product that is DDC line compliant and meets HDCP standards.
The HDMI-X includes an HDMI transmitter and receiver, an external 12V power supply adapter and a variety of HDMI equipment cables: four-strand 50/125 fiber cable, Cat 5e cable and HDMI cable. All cables can be terminated at the specific length required for a given installation. The HDMI-X kit allows easy transmission of uncompressed digital video and audio up to 100m and can also be applied to the WUXGA format.
