RF Central unveils HD camera-mounted transmitter
At NAB2007, RF Central unveiled its new RFX-CMT-HD HD camera-mounted transmitter.
Offering high-quality, low-latency MPEG-2 HD or SD encoding, the RFX-CMT-HD is designed for use in live news coverage or sports applications.
The camera-back transmitter relies on high-quality linear RF amplification technology that limits spectral regrowth at full power to less than -35dBc.
The RFX-CMT-HD HD mounts between the battery and the camera interface plate. It uses COFDM DVB-T modulation and QPSK, 16-QAM and 64-QAM modulation modes. The RFX-CMT-HD supports 1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 5/6 and 7/8 forward error correction modes.
