RFS unveils compact manifold combiner
By TVTechnology
published Radio Frequency Systems introduced its latest, ultra-compact manifold combiner for low-power digital television broadcasters at IBC2004.
Designed for combining digital channels up to 250W, the UHF manifold combiner offers a space-efficient alternative to balanced modules.
The manifold configuration has one RFS 50E filter instead of two and thus is half the weight and has half the footprint of other combiners.
The manifold model is also tunable over the entire UHF band for 6-, 7- or 8MHz bandwidths. It features double temperature compensation and exhibits low loss for its filter sizes.
