Rhozet to Introduce New Transcoding Solutions at NAB2007
Rhozet Corp., makers of Carbon Coder and Carbon Server transcoding solutions, will demonstrate new versions of the Carbon line at NAB2007.
The new versions incorporate a host of features including multimachine rendering for faster performance and new device support for Panasonic P2, Sony XDCAM and Avid MediaStream. These formats will be supported for both import and export and will manage SD and HD video.
The company will also showcase new support for Dolby Digital (AC-3) encoding. The new Rhozet technology introduced at NAB will also include the ability to splice streams of video in the compressed domain, accelerating tasks such as ad insertion and program creation.
In addition, Rhozet will introduce the ability to remotely browse and select content for transcoding directly off of playout or management servers. This capability will be demonstrated with Quantel to show remote browsing and transcoding from a Quantel sQ server.
Rhozet Corp. will be at Booth SL3716.
