Riedel to launch new intercoms at NAB
Riedel Communications will introduce its new Acrobat Digital Wireless Intercom range at NAB. The Acrobat system is a license-free, full-duplex wireless communications intercom for sports broadcasts.
The Acrobat system allows the operation of an unlimited number of wireless belt packs and features party-line and point-to-point communications, digital audio quality and no interference with radio microphones or in-ear-monitoring.
Riedel will also introduce a new fiber-optic signal transport called MediorNet. It will be the company’s first step into fiber-based, real-time signal transport solutions for multichannel HD video, audio and data. It will establish a new approach to broadcast production infrastructure, integrating networks and technologies that were once divided.
The company also will debut its new Artist 4000 Series intercom control panels. The new panel series is a cost-effective product designed to meet the demands of all intercom markets.
