Scopus' Codico E-90 Now Shipping

published Scopus is now shipping its new MPEG-2 encoder, Codico E-90.
The encoder can be used for cable TV head-ends, wireless cable, broadcasting systems and private networks.
The 19-inch rackmountable E-90 accepts analog video inputs and optionally SDI input with NTSC auto aspect ratio and 10-bit A/D. The encoder provides both high-speed and low-speed data processing, outputting video with a rate of up to 8 Mbps. The E-90 can handle up to two stereo or four mono channels of Dolby Digital 2.0 encoding and 5.1 pass-through.
The system has a 4:2:0 encoding profile and data output can be sent to ASI or IP interfaces.
