SGL to release FlashBrowse II at NAB
By TVTechnology
published SGL will introduce the FlashBrowse II at the 2009 NAB Show. The client-based Web tool allows FlashNet users to capture simple metadata and archive and restore media from many different forms of archive. It can be used on any platform — Mac, PC or Linux.
Not only can users search for content held in the archive, but also they can view low-res proxy versions without restoring the original material from the archive. The tool supports both simple and advanced searches. FlashBrowse enables users to search for content in the archive and in a wide range of supported broadcast video servers.
