Shotoku to show robotic pan/tilt heads, controllers
The TG-17 pan/tilt head supports up to 33lbs.
Shotoku Broadcast Systems will show its new robotic range of pan/tilt heads and control panels at IBC2005. The new complement of pan/tilt heads was designed for a wide variety of venues, including legislative bodies, sports arenas and all studio environments, including news, talk shows, and virtual reality sets. Control of the heads is accomplished via Shotoku’s new panels, and may also be controlled by other manufacturers control units.
The TG-17 pan/tilt head supports up to 33lbs and features precise encoder feedback on the output shaft (better than 1/400 per degree) for robotic and VR applications. The TG-18 supports up to 110lbs, while the TG-19 can bear a 154lb payload. Both the TG-18 and TG-19 feature manual operations with adjustable fluid damping, VR capability and a unique learn mode.
