Suitable for a wide range of applications, the 8290 is a full-range passive design featuring dual 8in woofers and a planar ribbon driver in a compact multiangled cabinet. The company suggests multimedia installations, public speeches and house mains and stage monitors as appropriate uses.
To ensure both fidelity and intelligibility of sound, the 8290 is equipped with the SLS PRD500 planar ribbon driver within a 90-degree die-cast aluminum waveguide.
