Sound Devices Debuting New Recorder at IBC
Sound Devices’ will be debuting their new digital recorder at this year’s IBC.
An upgrade from the original 788T, the 788T-SSD includes a 256 GB solid-state hard drive, allowing for recording of over 60 hours of uncompressed, 24-bit audio spread over eight tracks.
The use of solid-state technology also gives the 788T-SSD faster transfer speeds and heightened resistance to shock. This comes as a huge benefit to those who record content in hostile environments when a second take isn’t optional.
Like the 788T, the 788T-SSD comes equipped with eight mic inputs,12 tracks of recording and numerous I/O and data connections.
Sound Devices will be at booth 8.E72.
