Spider Support Systems Turns Sideways
By TVTechnology
published Spider Support Systems is introducing its Ringo Head product at the NAB Show. This new camera accessory device allows operators to mount any professional video camera at 90 degrees off horizontal for capturing moving images in a vertical orientation, rather than in traditional horizontal modes.
The Ringo Head operates with existing tripod heads, jibs and even Steadicams. It's designed to keep a camera's center of gravity and lens fully aligned over the center of a tripod head. It works with a wide range of television and film cameras, including both full-size and small format units.
