Stantron to introduce new rack solutions at InfoComm 2007
Wisconsin-based Stantron has announced plans to exhibit at its first InfoComm show (booth #8438). The company will showcase its recently launched range of racks and accessories for the professional A/V industry, including the Presentation Rack and the PowerMount system for its range of thin power strips. These systems, along with a full range of products for lighting and cooling, allow Stantron to offer complete rack integration solutions, customizable to request.
The Stantron Presentation Rack is a durable mobile rack ideal for presentation needs in conference and boardrooms, available in two models. Both models are fully customizable and simplify equipment reconfiguration and routine system care through front- and rear-door access. The rack includes vertical lacing bars for efficient cable management and perforated front/rear panels to ensure proper ventilation.
The new PowerMount system is designed to accommodate vertical power strips within the rack. The system features full-length mounting brackets to accept all styles and sizes of vertical Stantron PowerOptions power strips, and is included with every vertical PowerOptions purchase. The system handles the basic function of holding power strips in place while providing the flexibility of affixing power strips in virtually any location inside the rack. PowerMount systems also have a 180-degree swivel feature to rotate the power strip during maintenance or integration. The rotating feature also reduces bends in cabling, and allows more power to be added as power demands increase. Because cabling can be taken out of the airflow path, the system also enhances equipment cooling.
The company will also display its new vertical and horizontal lacing bars for cable management. Designed with a proprietary T Hook feature, managing cables is made much easier by allowing the installer to loop a connected tie-wrap over the T Hook without struggling with the cables.
