The VMDA-6 provides broadcast engineers and production crews with a flexible tool for setting up and managing fiber-optic transmission lines in either a studio or live production environment. The unit's rugged case can be used for live-event usage or can be fit into a standard 1RU frame.
The key feature of the VMDA-6 is user-selectable modes for media conversion and distribution of SMPTE 297m-compatible HD/SD traffic.
