Tampa Microwave releases three new satellite simulators
Tampa Microwave has begun shipping three additional models in its satellite simulator product family.
The new products include a Quad-band Satsim, a single Ku-band Satsim and a single Ka-band Satsim. Tampa Microwave’s simulation products are designed for testing and training applications. The Satsim products eliminate the need for live paid satellite time, saving time and expense for system users and product developers.
Quad-band Satsim model LTT-03-W-198-ANT incorporates all of the features of the standard products, such as simultaneous band operation (C, X, Ku and Ka band), adjustable attenuation and wired remote control for band selection. In addition, this new Satsim allows the embedded internal antennas to be bypassed for use of external client-provided antennas.
The MSS-2300-BEA-S is a single Ku-band simulator with selectable beacons. It covers an input frequency of 14.0GHz-14.5GHz and output frequency of 11.7GHz-12.2GHz. The MSS-9800-BEA-S is a single Ka-band Satsim with selectable beacons. It covers the commercial Ka-band input frequency of 29.5GHz-30GHz and output frequency of 19.7GHz-12.2GHz.
