Tampa Microwave rolls out hot-swap converter
By TVTechnology
published Tampa Microwave has expanded its line of converters to include a new 1RU dual-frequency 1:1 redundant hot-swap converter.
Designed for field or lab applications, the compact, rugged rack-mount converter holds four converter modules that are swappable from the front panel, allowing the operator to reconfigure the system based on frequency requirements.
The basic unit can be configured with four block converters — two converters per band, including C, X and Ku — redundant power supplies and switches. Frequency stability is determined by an external 1MHz signal.
