At IBC2008, TeamCast launched Power4Cast, a new modulation platform designed for broadcasters and telcos that need to meet the growing demand to launch trial and commercial networks with new transmission technologies.
Power4Cast consists of a powerful, flexible modulation platform with multiple input interfaces: transport stream over ASI, DVB-S/S2 satellite and terrestrial IP network. An intelligent stream management process provides control to implement service filtering, remapping and regional content insertion.
TeamCast has designed Power4Cast’s high-performance modulation core to host various complex modulation algorithms, such as the new DVB-T2 standard, and to operate multichannel modulation schemes.
