Tektronix Addresses Digital Delivery at IBC2007
Tektronix will demonstrate solutions across its portfolio from SD to HD, along with MPEG and next-generation compression technologies at IBC2007.
The PQA500 picture quality analyzer incorporates eight new Tektronix patents and embodies the most comprehensive human vision model yet implemented by the company, according to Tektronix.
The MTS400 series of MPEG transport stream analyzers offer enhanced support for IPTV, VoIP and DTV. The tool kit assists with the transition to H.264 compression technology. An IP Parametric Player option designed for the MTX100B and MTS400 Series platforms will demonstrate stress testing of VoIP and IPTV products.
Tektronix will show the latest iteration of Cerify, called the world’s first fully automated system capable of verifying the quality of file-based compressed digital video and audio content before transmission or use.
Tektronix has added full-featured dual link monitoring to its family of integrated waveform monitors and rasterizers, providing a SMPTE 372M compliant interface for dual link HD SDI to support 4:4:4 12-bit RGB. New waveform monitors (WFM 7120/ 7020/6120) and enhanced rasterisers (WVR 7120/7020/6020) boast expanded features.
The new AMM768 multiformat audio monitor provides an optional SDI video picture display to simplify signal coordination while supporting Dolby formats.
