Telairity to Showcase New Hi-def AVC Encoder
At NAB2007, Telairity will demonstrate its line of real-time video compression solutions for a variety of tools and applications.
The company will showcase the North American debut of its BE8000 broadcast encoder platform for high-definition AVC/H.264 video compression. The BE8000 is a scalable, fully programmable, broadcast encoder for HD video compression using the state-of-the-art Main profile, Level 4 H.264/AVC standard, all in 1 RU. It features software-upgradeable AVClairity compression, which enables future quality, feature, and FRext standard enhancements.
The BE8000 accepts 720p and1080i (4:2:2) uncompressed HD video and up to four channels of embedded HD-SDI audio inputs. The system also features MPEG-4 AAC audio encoding for high-quality audio at the lowest compressed bit-rate. Users can select between constant bit-rate or variable bit-rate encoding options with bit-rates ranging up to 20 Mbps. Compressed video and audio is output on an MPEG-2 transport stream via DVB ASI or 100 Base-T Ethernet.
The company will also demonstrate its proprietary Telairity-1 video processor hardware and AVClairity video encoding software technologies.
Telairity's end-user products are offered by Nvision under a principal reseller agreement that makes these technologies available to a wide range of customers in the broadcast, satellite, cable, IPTV, and telecommunications sectors.
Telairity will be in booth SU13615.
