French TV broadcaster TF1, one of the largest private European TV channels, has launched TF1PRO, its business-to-business preview content platform, which is being secured by Thomson’s NexGuard solution.
With the TF1PRO services platform, accredited journalists can securely access exclusive premium content, such as TV shows, games and movies, before they are released to the general public. Each journalist will be provided with individualized USB security tokens, which will allow the streaming or downloading of encrypted prerelease content provided by TF1. Thomson’s NexGuard solution will ensure that journalists are previewing TF1 programming in a secure way.
