The Foundry to preview Nuke
At IBC2007, The Foundry will offer sneak previews of the next major release of its compositing application Nuke.
The company will also preview what’s to come with Furnace for Final Cut Pro and highlight the new Furnace 4 for OFX collection.
The next release of Nuke will offer improvements to the user interface as well as support for Python, an extensible programming language that is becoming widely supported by other application vendors and forming the backbone of many studio pipelines. Enhanced layer and channel support to eliminate the 64-channel limit, improved nodegraph manipulation capabilities and simplified management and selection are some of the other key improvements.
