TM Systems to unveil QC Station, RenderStation at NAB2005
TM Systems will introduce the QC Station and RenderStation at NAB2005.
The QC Station is a quality control software application that alters the traditional workflow of a dubbing or subtitling project. It eliminates the lengthy and time-consuming process of laying back an audio track onto videotape, making a dub of that tape, and then shipping it to designated locations where a quality assurance person reviews it. Similarly, it enables the user to simulate subtitling text prior to compositing the text either electronically or physically.
The RenderStation is a bitmap generation module that uses subtitling scripts in the form of Word documents created with the TM Systems TranStation to generate a navigation file and a TIFF file for each subtitle. It’s designed for use in DVD authoring.
