Pro audio distributor TransAudio Group has introduced the Black Cube Linear headphone amplifier by Lehmann Audio to the U.S. market via its Las Vegas Pro Audio catalog. The Black Cube Linear’s circuitry and adjustable maximum output gain ensure optimal performance at any headphone impedance or sensitivity.
The Black Cube Linear's specifications include a frequency response extending from 10Hz (-0.3dB) to 35kHz (-1dB); signal-to-noise ratio better than 95dB at 0dB gain, with greater than 70dB channel separation at 10kHz; total harmonic distortion less than 0.001 percent at 6mW and 300Ω; and selectable gain (0dB, 10dB or 20 dB) that effectively optimizes the output level of the zero global feedback Class A output stage. Dual headphone output jacks enable multiple listeners, the stereo analog input is XLR and a second XLR parallel output allows the unit to sit between an input and its final destination without disrupting the signal flow.
