A new HD plug-in by Ulead handles content shot with the Sony HDR-FX1 Handycam as well as Sony's new HVR-Z1U Professional HDV camcorder and the HVR-M10 VTR, slated to ship in 2005.
Designed for Ulead's MediaStudio Pro 7, the plug-in helps videographers capture, edit and output 1080i video content. Users can edit in native 1080i, 720p or for standard definition, MPEG-2 and in other formats. Options include device control, batch capture, multitrack editing and output to tape.
Taipei-based Ulead is a manufacturer of video, imagine and DVD authoring software.
