At IBC, Media 100 will show its new Version 12.0 advanced editing systems with added support for the Boris FX product line to deliver progressive frame formats and deeper compositing and effects integration. Version 12.0 editors can acquire, edit, and master progressive formats. The enhanced integration with Boris FX plug-ins enable editors to apply Boris filters and preset effects directly to individual clips as well as a range of video within the Media 100 timeline.
The Media 100 Version 12.0 HD Suite and HDe will support:

All progressive formats play back in real time without rendering.
Boris FX Integration allows clip effects and transitions to be applied and saved as favorites within the Media 100 interface. Effects can be processed in 16-bit per channel color space for maximum quality and color accuracy. The Boris FX plug-ins take advantage of the latest Mac-Intel processors to render at optimum speeds.
Version 12.0 will ship in Q3. Customers holding valid Media 100 Platinum Software Agreements will receive Version 12.0 free of charge.
