VertigoXmedia debuted its Xmedia Election Graphics System turnkey election package, an alternative to traditional election systems. The Xmedia system integrates off-the-shelf hardware and software tools with customizable graphics templates. The election-specific templates enable users to create tickers and charts that reflect the station's look, and data may be entered manually or linked to election news feeds from sources such as Associated Press. Production staff can use the system's editorial interface to browse election results via Web browser. Operators can use the integrated control screen to build playlists ahead of time and modify them on the fly. The system is available with VertigoCG, or can interface with CG systems from Chyron, Pinnacle and Inscriber.
